| Brothers Anointed Ancestral Kingly Authoritative BAAKA was conceived by Dr. Eliiott Cuff, senior pastor, Lincoln Heights Missionary Baptist Church, Woodlawn, Ohio. Dr. Cuff prayed and asked God to reveal to him a methodology and approach for men in the church and community that will be comprehensive and inclusive. God's answer to Dr. Cuff was to search within his own experiences as a man of God, preacher-pastor for God, anointed servant of God and discover the term to be used in such a ministry. Thus, God revealed BAAKA. |
| MISSION: The purpose of BAAKA is to provide a relevant and relative collective focus for men of all ages based upon the Word of God. BAAKA is the genesis for a new approach to men's ministry, beginning at the Lincoln Heights Church and then, hopefully, igniting a spirit of true brotherhood abroad. BAAKA is to help every man, every boy who would become a man, and every man who has remained a boy, to learn how to discover, seize, or recapture his true sense of destiny and purpose in God, in family, in community, in church, and in self. BAAKA helps a man learn to be a brother with all brothers, dead and alive; pointing brothers to incorporate in their worldview and daily habits of thought the strengths of their personal and collective histories—spiritual, cultural, social, political, sexual, and economical. BAAKA is meant to give to a man the power and authority that the Creator intends for His man to have in all walks of life where that man walks. |
